For every component of a cable, we use carefully selected materials. From the conductor and insulation to special shielding, every material meets the highest requirements for durability, safety and performance.
Conductor materials
What we use
Copper strands are the preferred choice for many applications, as they offer excellent conductivity and flexibility.
We process bare, tinned, silver-plated and gold-plated copper strands in accordance with VDE 0295, tailored to the specific requirements of your application.
What we have also produced
Steel strands: Galvanized variants for increased stability and load-bearing capacity.
Carbon fiber: Ideally suited for use in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), where no metals can be used. They are also lightweight and highly conductive.
Copper-aramid composite: Developed for special requirements, e.g. in lamp manufacturing, where stability and conductivity are crucial.
Insulation materials
Our standard
Insulation materials are an essential part of every cable, as they ensure both conductor protection and electrical and mechanical performance. We rely on a wide range of high-quality insulating materials tailored to the requirements of a wide variety of applications.
Our insulation materials include:
PVC (Y): A versatile material with variants such as temperature-resistant PVC (PVC-t) or cold-flexible PVC (PVC-k).
PE (2Y) and PP (9Y): Ideal for applications with high resistance to moisture and chemicals.
TPE (12Y): Particularly flexible and resilient, even at extreme temperatures.
PUR (11Y): Known for its resistance to abrasion, chemicals and hydrolysis.
PA (4Y) and FEP (6Y): For special applications with high requirements for temperature and chemical resistance.
Innovative solutions for special requirements
In addition to standard materials, we also offer innovative solutions such as:
Conductive plastics: To reduce surface resistance, e.g. in grain silos.
Fluorescent materials: For marking emergency exits in the event of a power failure.

Shielding
Versatility depending on the application
Shielding is essential to protect cables from electromagnetic interference and ensure reliable signal transmission. We offer a wide selection of high-quality shielding materials that can be customized to your requirements.
Our shielding is made from the following materials:
Copper braids: Bare, tinned, silver-plated or gold-plated wires with diameters from 0.07 mm to 0.15 mm.
Steel braids: Ideal for mechanical protection, e.g. as rodent protection or in demanding environments.
Carbon fibers: Perfect for lightweight construction and special requirements for conductive shielding.
Special solutions for specific requirements
Conductive plastics: Optimized shielding quality through the use of innovative materials.
Steel armoring: Used as protection against extreme loads, e.g. for applications requiring alligator protection.
Flame-retardant foils: For the highest fire protection requirements in safety-critical applications.

Strain reliefs
Quality for maximum tensile strength
Strain reliefs are crucial to ensure cables can be used safely and reliably even under high mechanical loads. We rely on robust and innovative materials that have been specially developed for demanding applications.
Polyester yarn: A cost-effective solution for moderate loads.
Aramid yarn: Ideally suited for extreme tensile loads with a tensile strength of over 5,000 kg.
Steel cables: Optimal for maximum stability in particularly demanding applications.

Additional components - versatile options for your requirements
In addition to conductor materials, insulating materials, shielding and strain reliefs, we offer a wide range of other components and innovative solutions. We equip our cables with special foils, such as flame-retardant or aluminum-laminated variants, to meet the highest fire protection and performance requirements. In addition, we can integrate hoses, fiber optic cables (FO), GRP rods and even LED strips on request to combine individual functions in a single cable.
For specific applications, we shape cables in almost any desired geometry – whether oval, star-shaped or mushroom-shaped. These adaptations enable precise integration into a wide range of systems. For highly specialized requirements, such as use in grain silos or lightweight construction applications, we also develop suitable solutions, for example by using conductive materials or carbon fibers.
